FAQ’s
A local anaesthetic is applied either topically as a numbing cream or via a very small injection to ensure that the procedure is painless.
FOREVER The devices cauterise the tissue and vaporise the abnormal tissue, leaving it covered by a thin dry dark area the size of the original lesion. This will fall off naturally (although it can take a couple of weeks for this to occur).
DO NOT cover the area with plastic, occlusive dressings or any type of makeup until the area is healed.
You may use mineral makeup, if necessary, only after 48 hours and only with a clean new brush.
We recommend you AVOID the following:
- Exfoliating products or products containing glycolic acid for 12 weeks.
- Other skin-care treatments until the area is healed
- Shaving until the area is fully healed
- Saunas or sun beds during the healing process
- No strenuous exercise, sweating or extreme heat for 24 hours.
